London is a fantastic city to visit for an evening out with the girls, with plenty of venues sure to appeal to all tastes. Here’s our quick selection of the best places in London for a cocktail night…

Callooh Callay

This quirky bar in Shoreditch first opened its doors in 2008 and has been refining its extensive and impressive cocktail menu ever since. Combining a unique aesthetic with delicious drinks and a fantastic atmosphere, the bar thrives on its self-described ‘unpretentious’ approach to providing a great night out, without diminishing the quality of both the offerings or the service. Callooh Callay has also won a number of awards in response to its dedicated approach, making it the ideal place to start or end your evening out while staying at the Park Grand Hotel.

Mr Fogg’s

Set within the opulence of Mayfair and with a sister bar in Covent Garden, Mr Fogg’s is a charming cocktail-centric venue inspired by the stories of Jules Verne. Both unmistakably British and distinctly unusual, there’s lots of variety in store on the cocktail menu including an array of unexpected concoctions perfect for experimenting with new tipples during your stay at any of hotels near Gloucester road station. Look out for the audio book of Around the World in 80 Days playing in the bathroom…

Mark’s Bars

With locations in Soho and the City, Mark’s Bars has an eccentric vibe and a great range of cocktails as well as a tasty menu for anyone feeling peckish during your cocktail night. There’s even entertainment on offer, with the chance to play a game of billiards in the stunning surroundings of these bars. Be sure to head here after enjoying a meal at the Park Grand Restaurant to ensure a fabulous evening out.

K Bar

A classy South Kensington venue inspired by the atmosphere and décor of a traditional gentlemen’s club, yet never excluding a girl’s night out. The bar was only recently launched in 2016, yet has already built up a distinct following for its elaborate décor and lighting as well as the leather-panelled bar front and marble accents. For those not keen on cocktails, there’s also an extensive wine list to choose from so nobody will feel left out. This is a truly prime location for a girlie night on the town and is sure to produce plenty of great photos and fantastic memories during your trip to the capital.

Ruby’s

This ‘artfully dishevelled’ basement bar in East London still offers the glamour of a girl’s night out, and a delicious, Instagram-friendly cocktail menu to boot.  Creativity is key to the success of Ruby’s, and it’s particularly popular with hipster types seeking a watering hole at the weekend. The menu is seasonal, and there’s table service and a lounge bar next door to move the party on later in the evening; expect live DJs, active dance floor and disco music.
