Free Friday Music – Giovanetti Quartet (Music for Youth)

There’s food, drink and free live music at this Free Friday Music concert featuring the talents of the Giovanetti Quartet, the senior string quartet of Oxfordshire County Music Services. The concert is filled with some of the best up and coming musicians in the area, aged between 14-16, who meet every week to explore and expand their classical music repertoire. The concert is organised alongside Music For Youth, which aims to place great new talent in the prestigious venue of the Royal Albert Hall.

Classical Coffee Mornings: Teddy Humphrey

Saxophonist Teddy Humphrey first started learning his craft at the age of seven, and is currently training in classical and jazz at the Royal College of Music. This classical concert gives attendees and music fans visiting the Park Grand Hotel Kensington the chance to see a big talent in the making, as he plays the lines of Andre Jolivet’s Fantasie Impomptu and James Rae’s Sonata. In addition to his studies, Teddy is a member of the RCMJD Big Band, and is a major music scholar at Epsom College.

Romain Leleu

French trumpeter Romain Leleu has been called an ‘instrumental soloist revelation’, so seeing him live will be a major event for music-loving guests at the Park Grand Hotel Kensington. Romain has performed alongside some of the finest French and international orchestras, and in his capacity as a chamber musician he has also shared stages with some of the world’s most notable musical talents. Adventurous and audacious, Romain’s performance at this event will be accompanied by pianist, Francois Dumont.

The Guilty Feminist

Comedian Deborah Frances-White takes aim at topics familiar to all 21st century feminists, exploring the ideas underpinning each principle of modern feminism. A live spin-off from her popular Guilty Feminist podcast, the event is easily accessed from our hotels near Earls Court London, and should impress fans of comedy and thought-provoking talks alike.

Live Music Brunch – Southside Gypsy Trio

The Southside Gypsy Trio is comprised of accordion player Mike Guy, guitarist Christian Miller, and Eric Guy on the double bass. This event will see them perform a selection of American songbook standards and gypsy jazz classics. It is sure to create a lively musical lunchtime brunch perfect for fans of genre-crossing talent.
